Cavaller House

This house has been built from the 16th to the 19th century and is therefore a compendium of architectural styles. It preserves the Gothic floor plan, as well as remains of previous architecture.
It was the house of the Riusec, agricultural owners of weight in the economic and social life of the population until the middle of the 17th century, when they connect with the family ennoblished the Olzinas, prominent members of the Consell de Cent and the Generalitat
Inside there is a baroque chamber-chapter dedicated to the Virgin of Montserrat.
From this house (the Riusec farmhouse) were the shepherds who found the image of the Virgin of Montserrat in the Holy Cave.
